ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 1

Morrow County Health District

The Morrow County Health District is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the agency’s nursing division.  Under the Director, this person will support the division and agency by providing a variety of duties including, but not limited to: answering phone calls, scheduling, customer service, billing, data entry, and fulfilling record requests.

Qualifications:  A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required, with an associate’s degree preferred.  Basic computer and clerical skills required.  Applicant must also have a current Ohio driver’s license and auto insurance.

Salary: Administrative Assistant I starting pay is $14.50 per hour, which may be adjusted commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with 38 hours per week, Monday – Thursday.

REGISTERED SANITARIAN I / SANITARIAN-IN-TRAINING

The Morrow County Health District is seeking a Registered Sanitarian I or a Sanitarian-in-Training for the agency’s Environmental Health Division.  Under direction, this person will perform environmental health services to assure compliance with applicable national, state, and local environmental health standards.  Duties may include, but are not limited to: inspection, investigation, and consultation in the areas of food protection, household sewage disposal, nuisances, vectors, campgrounds, parks, and solid waste to ensure compliance with local and state laws, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:  A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health or health-related field is required.  Current Ohio registration as a Registered Sanitarian, or Ohio registration as a Sanitarian-in-Training is required. Sanitarian-in-Training applicants must successfully complete written examination for sanitarian registration within three (3) years of sanitarian-in-training registration.  Applicant must also have a current Ohio driver’s license and auto insurance.

Salary: Sanitarian I starting pay is $20.00 per hour, which may be adjusted commensurate with experience. Sanitarian-in-Training starting pay is $17.00 per hour, which may be adjusted commensurate with experience.  This is a Part Time, Non-exempt position with 24 hours per week.
